Vicious cycle of death

Journalists were beheaded by ISIL. Innocent lives lost. brought to an end by nothing by cruelity and brutality. A single human being is worth a million dreams and a million aspirations. All of them saw darkness. Have been cast in the pit of hell. All for something that they don’t yet comprehend i’d presume even if they would still be alive today. Are we seeing too much of this lately on the news. Are we at a point when we stopped feeling the true pain of these individuals?

The united states wants to bring those people to justice. They want to go for a war on terror yet again. Many people would die. Both innocent and guilty. The guilty are taking shelter among the civilian houses. Casualties would include orphaned kids, mothers without their loved ones.  There would be survivors for sure. People who managed to crawl through and away from the earshot of an explosion. People left with their lives and  nothing else. People left with no purpose in life. People who got pushed to the limit. People with nothing to lose.

Some of them go looking for a new definition of life. Some of them wander for means to satisfy their newly born blood lust. Birth of a terrorist or a new terrorist organization. Every survivor left with nothing but hate is equal to a nuclear bomb ready to explode any minute.

Isn’t it obvious that wars can only have a beginning?  Why does it have to be this way? Didn’t mother earth give room for co-existence? Can’t we show we are all better human beings by not seeking revenge? By not responding? By overcoming lust whatever form it may become? Cant we let the people responsible for taking innocent lives answer to their own conscious? Why can’t forgiveness be the new strength? Why not set a new example and reach out new seg-ways to empathy? Why not see reflections of our own existence and our own values in every human being alive? The day we cease to believe that, do we have a human being left in us?
